I am BACK!!!
I will still be using Xanga from time to time, but I am starting to like this blog better.
So, I heard this cool quote today:
Religion is for people who don't want to go to hell...
Spirituality is for people who have been to hell and don't want to go back...
I for one have been largely disinterested in the topic of Hell. I think the Church hangs to much of its theology on hell, and not on living the life that Jesus wants us to live.
I like the idea that spirituality is for people who have been to hell and don't want to go back. I think that anyone who has been through a recovery group would subscribe to this. Specifially those who follow Christ would say that turing to him has saved them from the Hell they lived in in the here and now.
